Select another type of benign lesion:

Hemangiomas are benign, vascular lesions that can take a variety of appearances from patches to nodules. Their colour usually ranges from bright red to blue-purple. They are the most common skin lesion to occur in infants.

Hemangiomas are characterised by their typical behaviour; exhibiting rapid growth during the first few months of life, followed by slow and spontaneous fading and shrinking as the child grows.
