Skin tags

Choisir une autre lésion bénigne

Skin tags are common benign skin lesions that can appear in patients of any age. They present as soft nodules, skin-coloured or slightly darker, either emerging directly and fully from the skin or connected via a thin ‘stalk’.

They are most commonly found on the neck, armpit or groin, and can appear either on their own or in clusters.

Skin tags are not usually accompanied by any symptoms, but they can become painful, change colour or swell after a trauma.

Skin tags may resemble moles, seborrheic keratoses or, less commonly, neurofibromas.
